Salvamento Marítimo ha rescatado en la madrugada de este lunes a ocho migrantes menores de edad que navegaban en una patera por el Estrecho de Gibraltar que ha terminado llegando al puerto de Algeciras.
Según ha informado un portavoz de Salvamento, el rescate se produjo después de que se diese aviso del avistamiento de una infraembarcación.
La guardamar 'Arcturus' se ha desplazado a la zona indicada cerca de Barbate, lugar en el que recogió, sobre las dos de la madrugada, a ocho migrantes magrebíes menores de edad.
De esta forma, han sido desembarcados y atendidos por las autoridades competentes en el puerto de Algeciras.
