El dispositivo para la prevención y extinción de incendios forestales de Andalucía ha dado por extinguido el fuego declarado este martes en un paraje del municipio jiennense de Beas de Segura, donde se han quemado 25 hectáreas de matorral y pasto. El personal del Infoca ha trabajado toda la noche en su remate y liquidación, algo que finalmente se ha producido a las once de la mañana de este miércoles. Las llamas han afectado a 15 hectáreas de matorral y diez de pasto en el paraje conocido como Vista Alegre, donde el incendio se detectó en torno a las seis de la tarde. Los medios fueron 30 bomberos, dos técnicos y cuatro aéreos, con un helicóptero de transporte y extinción más otro bombardero de gran capacidad con los que se logró la estabilización del fuego, tras lo que permanecieron trabajando para su control 16 bomberos, un agente de medio ambiente y un vehículo autobomba.
