Paula Moderzone-Becker (8 February 1876-21 November 1907) is one of the German female painters representing early expressionism.

Born on 8 February 1876 in Friedrichstadt, Dresden, Germany.
I started learning painting in Bremen from 1893.

In 1898, at the age of 22, she studied under the German painter Fritz Mackensen and painted a female portrait of a nearby peasant and a landscape in northern Germany.

From 1900 to 1907, Paula went to Paris six times to study painting. In Paris, I was influenced by late impressionist works such as Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin.

Born November 2, 1907 in daughter Mathilde. 19 days later Paula died of embolism.

Paula is known as the first female painter to draw naked self-portraits.
